After a busy weekend, I’m back at it for another week. Busy is as busy does. This coming weekend is gallery night and, doing a social Meetup with my entrepreneurs group. I want to direct them to the “real” meetups with real topics, not the social events. I’ve been doing the gallery walks in Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Boca Raton, and wherever for years. The results of that is in Miamiartexchange.com. Maybe the social event will wield some new friendships and, that’s always good.

I’ve gotten emails from two people that created emotional responses this past week. One, was from a very good high school buddy I used to hang out with. We met in 1965. He’s a fantastic artist and, his brother is also an artist. The other person is from IRC and, although we’ve never met in person he was always a wonderful person to chat with. We’ve come close to meeting a couple of times but, our schedules didn’t work out. He’s in Boston.

Tomorrow is back to the web grindstone. I have a ton of phone calls to make and, emails to send. And, last night Paul asked me if I thought we could do a web conference by the end of Feb., 2008. “Yes, but… that’s lots of planning, organizing, and logistics.” I added, “I did a statewide cultural conference by myself back in ‘93 and, even though the attendance could have been better, our group came from around the state and, we did some great networking and planned some future projects that came to fruition.”
